  1. Dear Meghann

Greetings from the Tribal Design Forum, India.

Tribal Design Forum is India’s first and only community of designers and creative professionals from various indigenous communities in India. And we hold weekly talks with inspiring professionals from indigenous communities around the world.

We would be very keen to have you share the Your professional journey working with indigenous yet contemporary design with our community over an interactive session on zoom. We usually have our meetings on Sundays. Would it be possible to invite you for one of our talks?

We in India are particularly excited to learn how indigenous design has made itself visible and pronounced in the urban mainstream through inspiring young indigenous designers like you.

You could see the previous list of speakers and other events at http://www.tribaldesignforum.com
We could schedule a date much in advance based on your convenience.

Look forward to hearing from you,

    Regards

  2. Dear Jaad Kuujus,

The Handweavers Guild of America (HGA) endeavors to ground its new Textiles & Tea program with diversity and inclusion. We feel it is of the utmost importance to expose our membership and community to different perspectives and experiences given the rich field of textiles. We earnestly hope you will consider participating in this new event.

Textiles & Tea is a weekly, hour-long program, held every Tuesday, at 4pm EST. Kathi Grupp, HGA advertising and marketing manager, moderates the program sessions. Prior to the session, she provides participating artists with a series of questions to be discussed. To supplement the discussion, images of the artist’s artwork are featured. During the last fifteen minutes of the event, viewers are provided with the opportunity to ask questions.

Textiles & Tea is generated using Zoom. The event is broadcasted and recorded through Facebook Live and available to watch on the HGA YouTube channel. Each episode averages over 3000 views between Zoom and Facebook. Below is a sample Textiles & Tea program session.

We truly hope you will support us in our endeavor and be a featured artist on Textiles & Tea. If interested, please respond to this email, or call me at (470) 893 0554.

    Best regards,
